Fall 2019 Season Audition Information
Auditions for the Fall 2019 semester of the Yuba Sutter Youth Symphony will be held on September 8th, 2019, at 1:00pm in the orchestra room of Yuba City High School.
Applications must be postmarked by September 2nd, 2019.
Tuition for the Fall 2019 semester is due at the first rehearsal on September 10th, 2019 and is $180 for Advanced Orchestra, and $80 for Intermediate Orchestra.
About 15 minutes will be allotted for each student, and the auditions will be completely blind. This means that you will not see or speak to the audition panel and they will not see or speak to you. An audition facilitator will be present to guide you through and assist you during the audition. The blind audition ensures that the audition results are fair, and solely based on your playing ability. The auditions will give the staff an idea of how you play and whether or not you have the experience to play the level of difficulty of the music that the orchestra performs.
